Dr. Comer is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and has been a CLIA laboratory medical director for a variety of hospital and specialty laboratories since 1994. He currently serves as a consultant for Mission Pathology and as a Medical Director for Ilumina Laboratories.
Dr. Comer was selected as the 2019 Physician of the Year at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital and along with his Mission Pathology Consultants (MPC) colleagues and Pacific Diagnostics Laboratories (PDL) staff is devoted to providing the highest laboratory quality in support of patient care for our providers in the central coast of California.
